Mrs. Brenda Tacker Foley, age 72, of Quinlan, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 10, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Middlebrooks officiating; interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery in Como; with Tammy Attaway, Zachary Attaway, Troy Foley, Richard Bodiford, Michael Tacker, Leo Attaway, Kevin Davis, and Jerry Meador serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Brenda was born on June 11, 1950 in Houston, TX to GW and Betty (Hardison) Tacker. She married Mr. James Earnest Foley, Sr., who preceded her in death on January 16, 2023. She worked as a Medical Buyer, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianora Meador; son, James Foley Jr; son-in-law, Jerry Meador; grandchildren, Nytisha Foley, Troy Foley, Cheyenne Foley, Felicia Miller; great grandchildren, Jaycob Porter, Jace Gustafson, Trinity Porter, AnnaBelle Miller, Daxton Gustafson; sister, Anita Attaway.
Brenda was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Attaway.
