Faye McClendon Tuttle

Faye McClendon Tuttle passed away peacefully on at the age of 96. Born on January 8th, 1926 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to John and Thelma McClendon, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Tuttle and son Brian W. Tuttle, her parents and her brother Hugh McClendon and sister-in-law Sybil McClendon.

Faye is survived by her children Paul and Robin Tuttle of Boerne and Sue Tuttle of Seguin, grandchildren Lauren and Justin Stumberg, Jason Tuttle and Bailey and Jason Spenrath, great-grandchildren Dylan and Dutch Stumberg, Hayes Tuttle and Piper, Tanner, Ayson and Everly Spenrath and close family Rebecca and Mark Jolly, Betty Jo Tuttle and children and her nephews Mark and Jay McClendon and family.

Faye lived a long and full life and was truly loved by many. She built a successful 30-year career as a realtor in San Antonio, was an avid swimmer and a vital part of many organizations and the University United Methodist Church. She loved to play bridge, read, learn, travel and enjoy the finer things in life. Her generosity for her family and friends was unmatched, as was her cooking. Not a birthday or holiday will go by when her family doesn’t think of her delicious meals and the love that went into them. Though they will miss her greatly, Faye’s family rejoices in her long life and many memories they will hold dear.
