Eric Shockey, age 35 of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away on August 9, 2022, in his sleep at his residence. The memorial service will be held at a later date.
Eric was born on November 22, 1986, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Bill and Debbie (Riddle) Shockey. He worked as a health care provider and was a manager at Pizza Hut.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Debbie; sister, Krystle Shockey and husband, Terry Odom; nieces, KayDince Shockey and Laycee Odom; uncles, Ray Shockey, Raymond Shockey and Bobby Shockey; and numerous cousins, friends and family.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Royce and Virginia McClelland, and uncle, John Shockey.
