A memorial service for Eric Shockey, age 35, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Shockey passed away on August 9, 2022, in his sleep at his residence.
Eric was born on November 22, 1986, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Bill and Debbie (Riddle) Shockey. He worked as a health care provider and was a manager at Pizza Hut.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Debbie; sister, Krystle Shockey and husband, Terry Odom; nieces, KayDince Shockey and Laycee Odom; uncles, Ray Shockey, Raymond Shockey and Bobby Shockey; and numerous cousins, friends and family.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Royce and Virginia McClelland; and uncle, John Shockey.
