Jerry Mack was born on June 26, 1952, in Commerce, Texas to Willard Elbert and Eula Faye (Quisenberry) Skaggs. He married his best friend on May 28, 1978, in Carthage, Texas. Mr. Skaggs proudly served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Following his fulfillment in the service, he was a truck driver for many years. Throughout his lifetime, he was able to visit all 50 states and 6 countries. He was a jack of all trades with odd jobs after retirement. Jerry was an avid fisherman that loved nature and outdoors. He loved to travel but the Rocky Mountains was his all-time favorite. He will be remembered by many friends at their Bingo family. He loved his bingo. He was an active member of the VFW.

Jerry may have had a harsh marine tone, but there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t and didn’t do for his family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his one weakness. He would turn heaven and earth for them. He was so proud. He will be missed so much but will always be loved and remembered.
