Nude Woman Arrested For Disorderly Conduct

A nude woman was arrested late Sunday night for disorderly conduct, according to arrest reports.

A Sulphur Springs Police officer responded at 11:29 p.m. Sunday night on Reservoir Street to a complaint of a nude woman leaning against a dark pickup.

Upon arrival, the policeman noted a white female was indeed leaning against a Ford pickup and was nude except for a pair of shoe. The officer stopped to talk to the woman to check on her. He observed she’d urinated on the road as well, the policeman noted in arrest reports.

The 39-year-old Sulphur Springs woman was placed into handcuffs and transported to jail by a sheriff’s office deputy who had arrived to assist the police officer. The nude woman was booked into Hopkins County jail at 12:17 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, on a charge of disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor offense, according to arrest reports.

She was released from Hopkins County jail later Monday on the charge, according to jail reports.

Sunday was the fifth time the Sulphur Springs woman has been booked into Hopkins County jail on misdemeanor charges in 2022. She also was booked in on Jan. 31, March 13 and March 16 for criminal trespass; March 3 for violation of probation on a marijuana possession charge and possession of drug paraphernalia charge, according to jail records.
