Nan Price

Graveside service for Nan Price, age 70 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at Gafford Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10.A.M. Visitation will be held the day prior at Murray-Orwosky Chapel, Monday, February 28, 2022 at 6 P.M.

Nan was born on March 8, 1951 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Farris and Elizabeth (Tate) Tatom. She married Roger Price on June 6, 1969 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Nan was the owner and operator of Price Pawn Shop for over 30 years. She was a member of the League Street Church of Christ. Nan and Roger have been married for 52 years.  Together they raised their four kids in the Gafford Chapel Community.  They owned and operated a large dairy business until selling out to begin their journey with The Pawn Shop where they worked together for 30 Years.  Nan was always very involved with her church.  She taught Sunday school classes, helped with vacation bible school, served in the clothing room and visited shut-ins.  Nan felt very strongly about doing something good for someone every single day but always tried to do it in secret and never spoke about it.  Nan and Roger have a very strong bond with their grandkids; keeping them every Friday night until they grew up.  Nan was a strong, faithful servant of the Lord, devoted wife, mother and friend to many.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; sons, Jay Price and wife, Susannah, Clay Price and wife, Juli and Tate Price and wife, Kobie; daughter, Tia Eddins and husband, David; grandchildren, Allie Price, Annaston Price, Addie Kate Price, Cade Price and wife, Emily, Coen Price and wife, Lauren, Camri Langhoff and husband, Cain, Rayli Childress and husband, Kason, Kasen Price and wife, Allie, Lexi Price Emmi Price, Jase Kirkpatirck, Jonah Kirkpatrick, Annjanae “Pete” Kirkpatrick, Ally Gilstrap and husband, Garrett and Andy Eddins; great grandchildren, Grayton Price and Blaire Gilstrap; sister, Lynn Litzel and husband, Phil and brother, Neil Tatom and wife, Melanie.

Nan was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Scott Price.

The family would like to give a special thanks to close family friend, Tressa Moore.
