Memorial service for Don George, age 84, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at a later date. Mr. George passed away on November 14, 2021, at Carriage House Manor.
Don was born on July 18, 1937 in Wierton, WV, to Glenn and Chloe (Seckman) George. He married Joyce George on November 24, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Don was a purchasing agent and accountant in the oil industry. He was a member of the League Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his beloved chi-winnie, Daisy Mae; his wife, Joyce; daughters, Donna Fogus (Cliff) and Brenda White and special son-in-law, James; son, Scott George; grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, and Matt Fogus, Kelci, Chad, and Broc Crawford, Devan and Dustan George; numerous great-grandchildren; special niece, RaeDene “Sis” Shorethose; nieces, Carol Gage and Karen George; and sister-in-laws, Shari George, Mary Headley and husband, Orval.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy George.
