Funeral service for Glenna Beth Ballard Ball, age 77, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Neal Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Peerless Cemetery with Michael Boyd, Bryan Ballard, Steven Boyd, Bubba Ball, Matthew Ball, Michael Ball, Phillip Ball and Andrew Loper serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Aaron Ball, Bradley Ball and Sean Wells. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Glenna passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Continue Care Hospital in Tyler Texas.

Glenna was born on June 10, 1944, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, the daughter of Finnis and JoDean Ballard. She married, Ned Ball on March 6, 1961. Glenna worked for HD Lee for many years before retiring and becoming a housewife. She loved serving the Lord and loved caring for others. Her compassion and kind heart endeared her not only to her family but to all that knew her. She had a special gift for giving and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. Her home cooked meals were second to none and she loved sharing them with all that came to visit.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ned; her children, Harold Ball and wife Jackie, Mary Ball Belz and Tony Fouse, Jerry Ball and wife Sabrina, all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Aaron Ball and Sydney Clagget of Pflugerville, Texas, Shawna Loper and Ricky Sawyer of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Bradley Ball of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Haley Ball of Tyler, Texas, Sean Wells of Sulphur Springs, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kinlie Loper, Addison Ball, Natalee Ball and Kouper Sawyer, all of Sulphur Springs; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Betty Boyd; and brothers, Doug Ballard and Larry Ballard of Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, JoJo Skeen and Jean McPherson; brothers, Mickey Ballard and Bobby Ballard; and granddaughter, Cheslie Lynn Wells.
