Graveside service for Vonda Merrell Wright, age 91, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Restlawn Memorial Park with Rev Fred Lewis officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers are the great grandsons. Mrs. Wright passed away on April 15, 2021 in Sulphur Springs, TX.
Vonda was born on December 26, 1929 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Mack Dennis and Mrtyle (White) Merrell. She married Frank Wright Sr. on September 8, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, TX. Vonda was a home maker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Frank Wright Jr and wife, Deborah Rogers; grandchildren, Craig English and wife, Rachel, Jennifer Byrd and husband, Stephen, Jason Wright and wife, Jemilynn, Ryan Wright and wife, Heather; her beloved great grandchildren, Austin English, Norris English, Max English, Garrett Byrd, Jordan Byrd, Drew Byrd, Rylan Wright, Abby Wright, Grayson Wright, Ella Wright.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Sr; sister, Imogene Gober; brother, Mack “Sonny” Dennis Merrell Jr. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church at 116 Oak Ave Sulphur Springs, TX 75482
