Funeral service for Peggy Clem, age 78, of Cumby, TX will be held at 2:00P.M. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wayne Darty and Bro. Jerry Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery with Colby Dillon Clem, Tyler Clem, Tanner Clem, Ty Hollard, Toby Hollard and Trenton Clem. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00P.M. on Wednesday, April 6, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Clem passed away on April 2, 2021 at her residence.
Peggy was born on July 5, 1942 in Point, TX to Thurman J. and Leona Pearl (Spencer) Briggs. She married Tommie Clem on June 24, 1961. Peggy was a housewife and a dairy farmer.
She is survived by her sons, Tracy Clem and wife, Christine of Midland, Tim Clem and wife, Melanie of Miller Grove; grandchildren, Crystal Deal, Tanya Clem, Christina Clem, Jessica Miller, Colby Dillon Clem, Tyler Clem, Cody Clem, Cheyenne Clem, Tanner Clem, Ty Holland, Toby Holland and Trenton Clem; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Maxine Sherwood, Margie Shinpaugh and Robert Briggs; twenty nine nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommie Clem; sons, Tommy Jr Clem and Tony Lee Clem; siblings, Earl Briggs, Erivin Briggs, Orville Briggs, Willie Joe “Buddy” Briggs, Raymond Briggs, Rayford Briggs, James Harold “Jimmy” Briggs, Bobbie Dodson.
