Memorial service for Rev. Gary Blowers, age 71, of Cumby, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2020
at 11:00 A.M. at Sulphur Springs Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Blowers passed away Thursday,
December 31, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs.
Gary Blowers was born June 30, 1949 in Ballston Spa, NY to William Blowers and Viola (Haskell)
Blowers. He married Brenda Pritchard in Ballston Spa, NY on November 25, 1967. Rev. Blowers was an
ordained minister and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda, of Cumby, TX; children, Scott Blowers and wife, Heather, of Hudson
Falls, NY, Brian Blowers and wife, Stacy, of Gansevoort, NY, Jason Blowers and wife, Katie, of
Schuylerville, NY, Rebecca Bohan and husband, Tim, of Cumby, TX, and Jacob Blowers of Cumby,
TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Blowers; sisters, Norene Blowers
and Elaine Alanzo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
