Phoebe “Cookie” Lee

Private family graveside service for Phoebe “Cookie” Lee, age 59, of Sulphur Springs will be held at East Caney Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.  Mrs. Lee passed away on Friday, August 5, 2020 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler.

Phoebe Ann was born on December 30, 1960 to Louis B Person Sr and Hulene Bell Person.  She married Marsel Lee and he preceded her in death in 2019.  Phoebe was a member of Mitchell Chapel Church of God In Christ. 

She is survived by her children, Ashley Foster, Terrance Wheat, Almeka Franklin and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Skylar, Ja-ycion, Hezekiah, Princeton, Elijiah, Logan, Noah; brothers and sisters, Louie B Persons Jr, Gyvorn Shamlin, Linda Adams, Terry Person, Melvin Person.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her father and husband.

Arrangements are being handled by Murray Orwosky Funeral Home.
