Sulphur Springs ISD Extends Spring Break One Week

In response to the worldwide pandemic know as the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) the Sulphur Springs ISD has decided to extend Spring Break for one week for all students in the district, to minimize public interaction between students, teachers, faculty and staff. The cautious measure follows school districts across the state and nation. This does NOT mean that any cases are confirmed or suspected in the SSISD community, but will hopefully minimize any suspected cases that could arise. The SSISD administration does not want to cause any panic, but wants to be responsible, and follow the example of others across the nation. This extended break will give them time to assess the current situation.

Students, faculty and staff will return to the classrooms on March 23rd.
