The next Tira City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2020. The public is always welcome and encouraged to attend.

Joyce Dodd reports, “We had a very nice man meet Jane, Tami, and me at the community center on Sunday afternoon, with a pickup bed full of food for the pantry. We truly appreciate his kindness and concern for others.”

Wesley Weir accompanied his mom, Yvonne, to her church Valentine party Saturday night. She shared, “There was lots of good food and lots of good company.”

Kim and Lee Beck had a weekend visit with Jason Beck, on a break from training in San Diego, California. Jason will be stationed in Japan for the next 2 years and it may be a while before they can see him again. He enjoyed some Murray’s BBQ and some nature trail hiking at Cooper Lake.

Rylan, Brailon, and Slaiden Joslin spent Valentine’s night with us and we went to Rylan’s last Little Dribblers game on Saturday morning in Yantis. His mom and dad, Landon and Laiken Joslin were there, as well as his “Paw Paw Malcolm” Joslin and his friend Melinda and her children. The boys came home with us and stayed until after lunch. Laiken picked up Dixie that afternoon. She is spending a few days here during her winter break. The kids all came to our house and enjoyed playing outside on Sunday afternoon.
