Lady Cats Basketball Coach Brittney Tisdell Prefers to Look at Big Game Ahead Instead of Looking Back to Friday Loss

Rather than dwell on last Friday’s (February 7) 48-31 loss at Mount Pleasant, Lady Cats Coach Brittney Tisdell is focusing on a big game coming up Tuesday night at home on senior night. She did have a few things to say about the Mount Pleasant game. Coach Tisdell said the Lady Cats got off to a good start Friday before falling off. She said she told her team at halftime Friday that she needed to be able to make substitutions without the team falling apart. Fortunately for the Lady Cats, a Lindale team one game behind the fourth place Lady Cats also lost Friday at Texas High on a late basket. That sets up a big game for the Lady Cats as they host Texas High Tuesday. Lindale will be playing at home against last place Greenville. Coach Tisdell remembers the Lady Cats first game with Texas High in Texarkana. The Lady Cats led most of the game and only a last second missed shot allowed the Lady Tigers to get a 43-42 win. Coach Tisdell expects her team to play better against Texas High Tuesday at home.
