The EAA Chapter 1094 had 29 folks fly out to KSLR on February 15th, 2020. The wind was pretty gusty in quite a few places and that may have kept the number of pilots down.
These guys are standing in front of a Gyrocopter that came out of Denton. It is not a helicopter, the engine pushes it forward and the forward movement causes the top rotor to spin which then causes lift.
We had 6 planes fly in total, here is a shot of most of them. Locations they came from are Denton, Commerce, McKinney, Rockwall, Arlington.
Some folks enjoying conversation, buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Coffee, and Orange juice.
