Jimmy Lee Timmons

Funeral services for Jimmy Lee Timmons, age 64, of Sulphur Springs, have been set for Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 at Mitchell Chapel. Interment will follow at the Mel Haven Cemetery. Mr. Timmons passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his residence in Sulphur Springs.

Jimmy Lee Timmons was born in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Seward Hosey
Timmons and Mildred Pitts Timmons. Mr. Timmons served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include: Sisters: Shirley Askew, Lela Hill and husband, Edward Hill, Elizabeth Barrett and husband Elder Mack Barrett, Janice Green, Barbara Spivey and husband Keith Spivey and Laura Timmons; Brothers: Robert Pitts and Johnny Timmons; Children: Jimmy Timmons, Jr., Joshua Timmons and Alisha Timmons; Uncle: Clyde Lee Pitts; 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; Best Friend: Buck Askew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
