Funeral Service for Larry “Cooter” Ferrell, age 69, of Posey, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019, at Posey Baptist Church with Bro. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Posey Cemetery with Ronny Ferrell, Glenn Ferrell, Josh Ferrell, Jake Ferrell, Alex Ferrell, Dylan Odom, Brad Wood, and Kevin Campbell serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Larry passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.
Larry was born January 6, 1950, to Sedell “Red” Ferrell and Mary (Tucker) Ferrell in Sulphur Springs. He was a truck driver and dairyman for many years, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Ferrell; grandson, Dylan Odom; brother, Johney Ferrell and wife, Belinda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Ferrell; and daughter, Cassie Ferrell.
