Gerald Prim Stadium in Sulphur Springs will be hosting another high school playoff game this weekend. There were three games at The Prim last weekend. Friday night (November 22) at 7:30 p.m., Daingerfield will be in town playing Blue Ridge in an Area round game. Daingerfield comes in with a 9-2 record while Blue Ridge is 7-4. These teams are in Region III, Class 3A, Division II
In other games of local interest, the Cumby Trojans are also in the Area playoff round. The Trojans, 8-3 for the season, are taking on Grapeland, 9-2 so far this season, at Bullard’s Panther Stadium Friday night at 7 p.m. These teams are in Region III, Class 2A, Division II.
Winnsboro is also playing an Area playoff game against Dallas Madison Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Greenville’s Cotton Ford Stadium. Winnsboro comes in 7-4 while Dallas Madison is 9-2. These teams are in Region II, Class 3A, Division I.
