Wildcats Football and Lady Cats Volleyball Take Place on the Road Friday

After a bye week, the Wildcats Football Team dives back into district play on this game day Friday (October 4). The Wildcats will be traveling to CitiBank Stadium in Forney to play the Forney Jackrabbits. Forney is 1-2 in district play and 2-3 for the season. They have a district win over Terrell and losses to North Forney and Royse City. The Wildcats are 0-2 in district play and 0-4 for the season. The Wildcats have district losses to Terrell and Royse City. Last year the Wildcats won a scoring fest at The Prim, 56-47. This year the teams are similar in this way. Both teams have struggled on offense while their defenses have played pretty well. This is a game both teams need to climb up the district standings. KSST Radio will bring you all the action of the Wildcats and Forney game. The game will also be videotaped for replay later on Channel 18 on Suddenlink Cable. The game will also be posted on YouTube.

Meanwhile the Lady Cats Volleyball Team also has a big district contest on the road. The Lady Cats are 1-1 in district play and they will be at 2-0 Greenville. The varsity match starts at 5 p.m. with freshmen and JV matches to follow. The Lady Cats varsity lost twice to Greenville last season.
