Frances Mae Cornwell was born in Lamesa, TX, on September 26, 1939, to the parentage of Arthur Lee and Maxine Walsh McAda.  She was a member of the Choctaw Nation.  She married Jackie Ray Cornwell, in Wills Point in 1959.  After going to school to become a Registered Nurse, she dedicated her life to working with special needs children.  Her family thought she was a work-a-holic, but the truth was that Frances simply loved what she was doing, helping little children, her patients, their families, and always doing kind things for others.  She loved shopping and collecting beautiful and meaningful things to her.  She loved her family very much, they made her life happy.  Frances was a Christian and attended Elwood Missionary Baptist Church in Wills Point. She enjoyed reading, working word puzzles and coloring the popular adult coloring books.
