Would you like to participate in a world-wide art/culture event and never leave your home town? You can, on October 5, 2019! In addition to being open to amateur photographers in countries around the globe, persons who want to join in can do so in Sulphur Springs, thanks to the Downtown Business Alliance. Just meet at Whimsy Boutique and Wine Bar at 300 Connally Street at 9am, and join the group as it makes several stops for photo-ops in the downtown district. Then meet back up at Whimsey again at 11:30am. You’ll receive instructions on how to submit your photos. You may also learn a lot about photography from others in the group, as well as qualify for local prizes later this Fall for your photos entered.

On the first Saturday of October each year, photographers and enthusiasts around the world get out their cameras and meet up at a designated location in their town to walk around and take photographs, socialize, make new friends, win prizes, and be a part of a great cause during Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk™. Last year was our largest walk yet—and we are ready to top it! No matter what continent you are on, where you are in your photography journey, or what type of camera or phone you use, you can take part in this year’s event!
