Dinner Bell Served by Sulphur Springs Law Enforcement

Smiling faces and a few watchful eyes helped serve this weeks community meal at First United Methodist Church. Along with some lighthearted ribbing, trustees dished up chicken spaghetti Wednesday morning.

Trustees are nothing new to Dinner Bell, a team of male trustees attended each week to help with clean up and tear-down of the tables and chairs. Members of local law enforcement, and a few city officials were also in attendance.

The mission of the Dinner Bell is to end hunger in Hopkins County. Fresh, hot, nutritious meals are prepared by volunteers each Wednesday and served to our guests at the First United Methodist Church. Through the generous support of church and community members and corporate sponsors we have been able to serve over 20,000 meals to those in need since opening our kitchen in 2012.
