TEXAS RANGERS ANNOUNCE RESCHEDULING OF JULY 1 POSTPONEMENT

The Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels will play a split doubleheader on Tuesday, August 20 with games at 1:05 and 7:05 p,m, CT

Arlington, Texas — The Texas Rangers today announced the rescheduled date for the Monday, July 1 postponement with the Los Angeles Angels at Globe Life Park in Arlington. That game was postponed following the tragic passing of Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs earlier that day.
The July 1 game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Tuesday, August 20 beginning at 1:05 p.m. The regularly scheduled game between the Rangers and Angels will start at the listed time of 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for the July 1 game may be used for the 1:05 p.m. game on August 20. Tickets may also be exchanged for a future game on the Rangers’ 2019 home schedule with the exception of September 27, 28, and 29 versus the New York Yankees at the Globe Life Park first base box office.
August 20 will mark Texas’ second doubleheader of the season. The Rangers swept a split doubleheader with the Oakland A’s on June 8. Texas has gone 7-1-8 in the club’s last 16 twinbills (day/night or split) dating to 2007.
