2 Men Arrested Over The Weekend In Hopkins County On Felony Warrants

Two men were arrested over the weekend by local authorities on felony warrants, one for violating terms of his probation and the other for violation of parole, according to arrest reports.

Todd Alfred Clark

Todd Alfred Clark, 44, of Bogata turned himself in at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at Hopkins County Sheriff’s office. He was escorted by Deputy Chris Baumann into the county jail, where he was booked on a warrant for violation of probation, which he was on for a third or more driving while intoxicated offense. The warrant was issued June 25.

Jail reports show Clark was arrested Nov. 30, 2013 and remained in Hopkins County jail until Dec. 10, 2013, on a third or more DWI charge, according to the jail reports.

Edward Frank Hamilton

Edward Frank Hamilton, 27, of Celeste was arrested by Hopkins County Sheriff’s Sgt. Michael Russell at 12:07 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, on East Industrial Drive at Bill Bradford Road on a violation of parole warrant.

Russell reported stopping a Ford Taurus for a traffic violation. A records check reportedly showed Hamilton to be wanted on the parole warrant, and took him to jail on the charge, according to arrest reports.
