Funeral services for Byron Keith Knighten, age 53, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Edward Walker officiating and Barris Sims assisting. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery with Gerome Walker, Fredrick Smith, Marlon Chisom, Donta Clayton, Luis Camacho, and Weldon Wright. Honorary pallbearer will be Henry Turner. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2019 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Byron passed away on July 23, 2019 in Tyler, TX. He was born on November 17, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Willie Bee and Edith Knighten. He is survived by his mother, Edith Knighten of Sulphur Springs, brothers, Gary Lynn and Clyde Leroy Knighten, sister, Pamela Sue Knighten, all of California, children, Amber Gwen, Macie Nicole, and Bryce Avery Knighten, stepdaughter, YaTanya Calhoun, and several grandchildren.
