Dewayne “Willie” Wilcox

Graveside service for Dewayne “Willie” Wilcox, age 75, of Brashear will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Brashear Cemetery with David Burns officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. Mr. Wilcox passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Carriage House Manor, Sulphur Springs.

Willie was born on October 22, 1943 in Sulphur Springs to Charles and Emma Wilcox. He married Betty Ann Martin. Willie owned Wilcox Taxidermy. He loved to hunt, fish and loved the outdoors. He was a member of Brashear Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Wilcox; daughters, Robin Jordan and husband, Ray Glenn, Leah Irving and husband, Brad, Kasey Slavens and husband, Phillip; son, Will Burns; grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Fallon McCool, Kinzi Irving, Anna Irving, Hudson Slavens, Owen Slavens; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Christi Lynn Wilcox.
