Memorial service for Jean Caldwell, age 64, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Caldwell passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler.
Jean was born in Sulphur Springs on July 12, 1954 to John and Tommie Jackson. She married Gerald Caldwell in Las Vegas on December 8, 1998. She worked for Southern Optical for 19 years and retired from Lowes Distribution after 20 years. Jean attended Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; step-daughters, Margaret Caldwell and Vickie Garland of Stamps, AR; sister, Janice Stokley and Judy Edwards; brother, Jerry Jackson; eight grandchildren; nephews, Jerome Edwards and Jason Stokely; niece, Jana Sue Satterfield.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy Jackson.
