More Information on Tickets, Venue for Wildcats Play-off Game March 7 in San Antonio Alamodome

According to the Superintendents office of SSISD, tickets are still available for the Thursday March 7, 2019 Wildcats Basketball Playoff game for the State Championship. Here are some particulars you may want to know.

Families, fans and students may purchase tickets in Sulphur Springs through the school. Tickets are $16 each and your ticket will admit you to the first 5A game at 7pm as well as the Wildcat game at 8:30pm. All seats are reserved. Children age 2 and under will be admitted free but must sit in a lap.

High schoolers who wish to sit together in a Student section may purchase tickets at Sulphur Springs High School through Wednesday March 6.

Families and fans may purchase tickets at SSISD Administration Building on Connally Street through Wednesday March 6.

If the Wildcats win on Thursday and advance to the Finals, those tickets will be sold at the Alamodome venue.

You will be able to listen to the game on KSST Radio 1230AM and streaming on our website, ksstradio.com. KSST Sports Director Don Julian will announce the playoff game. There will be no Channel 18 TV coverage or recording of the game.

The Alamodome venue has a “clear bag and weapon policy” and prohibits concealed and open carry weapons. They also prohibit certain types of bags and belongings from the venue.

THINGS YOU MAY NOT BRING INTO THE ALAMODOME INCLUDE: backpacks, camera/camera case, mesh bags, large purses, seat cushions, clear backpacks, color-tinted or plastic bags, over-sized tote bags, binoculars/case, printed or patterned plastic bags, folding chair/folding chair bag, concealed or open carry guns.

THINGS THAT ARE APPROVED TO BRING INTO THE ALAMODOME INCLUDE: purses smaller than 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2 , one-gallon plastic freezer bag, clear tote smaller than 12″x 6″x 12″, diaper bags and medically-necessary bags.

BASICALLY, IF YOUR BAG IS LARGER THEN A SHEET OF PAPER, IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE ALAMODOME.

Parking is $15 per vehicle, no in-and-out allowed. If you take your car from the parking area, you will have to pay another $15 parking fee upon your return.
