Video Presentation: Justices of the Peace Offer a Chance to Settle Up Before the Warrant Round Up March 2-9, 2019

Hopkins County Justices of the Peace will conduct a warrant round-up March 2-9, 2019. Letters, from GHS, a service employed by Hopkins County, will go out February 22 to all individuals who have outstanding warrants in the J P courts. According to Justices of the Peace Brad Cummings and B. J. Teer, those with outstanding warrants are invited to take care of the outstanding responsibility prior to the round up when arrests will be made.

J P Cummings said the letters going to those with warrants so that people can come in and take care of business. J P Teer said there is no reason to go to jail on a Class C Misdemeanor.
