Ronnie Jones

Ronnie Jones 56, of Cooper passed away in his home on Sunday, February, 3, 2019.

Ronnie was born September 12, 1962, in Paris, Texas, the son of Betty Marie Lane Jones and Harold Gene Jones. He was married to Dianna Lynn Beggs . He was self employed in the trucking industry. Ronnie was a simple, selfless person who would lend a hand to anybody who needed it. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting and riding those back roads listening to his favorite tunes. Although nicknamed “Bud” at a younger age, there were many other names he went by…”Ronnie Gene”, “Agitator,” “Repo,” and “Johnny” and he had many nicknames for family and friends. He was a huge lover of animals and always missed his pet skunk “Prissy”. Ronnie had one true love to his wife of 36 years, Lynn. There will never be another one like Ronnie with his contagious laugh and funny stories. He will forever be missed and loved by all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Dianna Lynn, his son, Bradley Jay Jones (Deborah), his sister, Jan Frederick (Howard), his brother, Monty Jones, his nieces; Lacy Jones, Jacy Jones and Kailey Blakley, his nephews; Brandon Spangler, Austen Blakley, Tristan Jones and Mark Maroney, he is also survived by his great nephew, Koler Bush.

Those that preceded him in death are his parents and his mother-in-law Frances Beggs.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ronnie Jones will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Three Rusty Nails Church, West Dallas Ave. Cooper, Texas with Bro. Edgar Clements officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time, from 1:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Austen Blakley, Tristan Jones, Gene Booth, Bo Szafran, Jason Murray and Judd Murray.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Booth, Howard Frederick, Matt Phipps, Mike Tucker and Danny Lee. 

Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, in Cooper.
