The Saltillo Lions improved their district record to 8-1 with a 57-41 win over Avery Friday (February 8). The Lions outscored Avery in each of the first three quarters and coasted to a win.
Chris Boekhorst led the Lions with 21 points. Ben Moore had 13 points. Matthew Gurley scored 20 points. Andrew Redburn had 8 points. Edi Olayo and Levi Hoover scored 2 points each. The Lions are now 23-8 for the season.
The Lions play Union Hill next Tuesday at 6 p.m. on senior night.
