Three Hopkins County Inmates Have Additional Charges Following Conclusion of SCU Investigation

Three inmates in Hopkins County Jail have had charges added following the completion of an investigation by the Special Crimes Unit into possession and sale of methamphetamine by each individual. All three have an extensive arrest record.

During the investigation, SCU had made multiple purchases of methamphetamine from Rodrick Ramone Mosley, 42. A warrant for Manufacture/Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 more than 1-gram but less than 4-grams in a Drug Free Zone was issued as an additional charge as the investigation ended. Mosley had been arrested in November, 2018 on six (6) possession and manufacture/delivery charges. His bonds total over $300,000 and he remains in jail.

Erick Jerome Sims, 40, has an additional charge of Manufacture Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 1-gram but less than 4-grams in a Drug Free Zone. The warrant comes at the close of the investigation. Sims had been arrested in December, 2018 on three drug charges. His bonds total over $130,000.

Houston Kyle Hooper, 28, who was arrested in December, 2018 on multiple drug charges had two charges added. Both charges added are for Manufacture Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, less than 1-gram in a Drug Free Zone.
