Fada Loudene Foster

Fada Loudene Foster, 92, of Commerce passed away on January 2, 2019, in Greenville, Texas.

She was born in Charleston, Texas on November 29, 1926, the daughter of Roy Lee Nabors and Gracie A. Lile Nabors. 

Fada married Verdis Leo Foster on December 20, 1958 in Hugo, Oklahoma and was a committed homemaker for their sixty plus years of marriage. She enjoyed gardening and canning the goods harvested from the garden, crafts of all kinds, and singing the old gospel hymns. She also enjoyed hosting family gatherings on holidays and at other times when they would all get together.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters: Deborah Ferrell (Charlie) of Peerless, Dovie Foster, and  Clara Ketner (Tony) of Cooper. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Debra Taylor (Lewis) of Cooper, Clarissa Hartman (Chris) of Klondike, Lori Timko (Jeff) of Birthright, and Lanny Ferrell (Kim) of Birthright; eleven great grandchildren complete her legacy: Christian, Logan, Eli, Paige, Lily, Luke, Sophia, Austin, Jonah, Haley, and Aden. Mrs. Foster is also survived by a brother Roy Lee Nabors Jr. (Mary) of Paris, and a sister, Lou Nell Dunn of Sulphur Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in Cooper, Texas, at the Three Rusty Nails Church.  Pastor RJ Nanny will officiate.
