Dana Craig Edgar

Funeral service for Dana Craig Edgar, age 66, of Emory are scheduled for Wednesday, January 30, at Emory Church of Christ.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.  Luis Comacho will officiate.  Burial will follow service in Dougherty Cemetery.

Dana was a member of Emory Church of Christ. During his working years, he worked on several jobs. The last job he worked, he was self-employed repairing farm equipment. He was a former member of SASS, Single Action Shooters Society, which was a group dressing in old west clothes and firing old time rifles. They put on wild west shows at county fairs, and, Historical Day presentations, wherever they were invited. Dana really enjoyed participating in this group.

Survivors include: Lisa Edgar Holman and husband, Steve of Emory; Jan Edgar Culberson and husband Randy of Heath; Nieces and Nephews:  Jason Edgar; Chad Edgar; Daniel Holman; Krista Fischer; Kara Covy; and,  Brandon Culberson; Sister-in-law:  Mary Lew Turrubiarte of Plano. Former wife:  Terri Farquhar of North Richland Hills.

Preceded in death by:  Parents; and brother, Gary Don Edgar in 1976.

 Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory is in charge of the arrangements.
