Retha Whirley Chrisman

Graveside Services for Retha Whirley Chrisman, age 68, of Sulphur Springs, have been set for 10:00AM, Monday, September 3, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Ladonia, TX with Brother Al Davis officiating.  Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Jones, Bo Morris, Kemo Mack, James Cox, L.A. Morris, Herman Morris and Christopher Cox.

Ms. Chrisman was born in Commerce, TX on July 1, 1950, the daughter of L.A Whirley and Opal Blackwell Whirley.   Retha worked as a waitress and then a CNA for many years before retiring.  She was a member of The Grace Family Church.

Survivors include, two daughters: Phiyllis Cox and husband, James, and Betty Morris and Kemo Mack; two sons: L.A. Morris and wife, Pam and Herman Morris, and wife, Elizabeth, all of Sulphur Springs; one step-son: James Smith; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents: L.A. and Opal Whirley; two husbands: Riley Morris and Mike Chrisman; one granddaughter and one great grandchild.
