At 7:15 p.m., The National Weather Service has cancelled a severe thunderstorm watch issued at 5 p.m. and in effect until 11 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018, for Hopkins, Delta, Lamar, and Fannin counties.
A watch means that severe weather is possible for these counties. Thunderstorms could contain gusty winds, lightning, and possible hail.
Currently, at 5:12 p.m., no thunderstorms are in these counties but a line of heavy storms stretches from just north of the Red River near Durant, Oklahoma to Antlers, Oklahoma. These storms are moving east southeast.
