Hopkins County National Day of Prayer Observance has been moved from Celebration Plaza to the Civic Center due to weather concerns. The event begins at 5 p.m. The Civic Center is located at 1200 Houston Street.
Rain began falling before 11 a.m. in downtown Sulphur Springs and the possibility of showers continues through the evening.
