The North Hopkins Panthers’ baseball team won one and lost one Thursday.
Douglass scored a single run in the bottom of the seventh for a walk off win, 4-3. Hits were hard to come by for each team as Douglass outhit the Panthers, 5 to 3. Chase Williams pitched the entire game for North Hopkins and took the loss.
In another game, the Panthers clobbered the Lufkin Central JV, 10-0 in four innings. Caleb Wyatt threw a three hit shutout. Brycen Gillespie drive in two runs for the Panthers.
