Join the Fight Against Child Exploitation By Taking Easter Photos

Redeeming Zoe Team members: Hunter Elliott, Mattison Perry, Leesha Hartley, Elizabeth Russell and Cowboy the Rabbit

Redeeming Zoe is an organization that fights child exploitation in the Philippines. They will be out on Celebration Plaza today, March 30th, until 6pm, and tomorrow, March 31st from 10am-6pm for their 3rd annual event “Photos for Freedom”.  This event focuses on taking photos for the good, and showing positive family examples.

Notre Dame (brown) and Cotton Ball (white and brown)

Notre Dame, and Cotton Ball are just two of the Bunny Rabbits you can pose with for your Easter Photos. In addition to the Easter photo shoots, Redeeming Zoe is also selling T-shirts, and has a 5k fun run set for April 21st: all of the proceeds will go directly to funding the missions in the Philippines.

The owners of the company: Hillary Evans and Becca Haskell are actively working with orphanages, and communities in the Philippines, and will return from their mission trip later in the year.

“Unicef recently did a study and shared that 8 out of every 10 children in the Philippines are at-risk and being exploited online through OSEC (Online Sexual Exploitation of Children). 77% of all victims are perpetrated by their parents.  We want families to “pose for freedom” this year!” Redeeming Zoe stands for “to renew or redeem life”, because the organization is wanting to renew children’s lives, by sharing Christ, healing those affected and empowering families to stick together.
