Despite the wet weather, both the Wildcats’ baseball team and Lady Cats’ softball team are expected to play games on this Thursday (March 1) game day.
The Wildcats are playing in their second tournament of the year while the Lady Cats are in their third tournament. The Wildcats are playing in a Lindale tournament. They began play against Atlanta’s Rabbits at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Wildcats enter tournament play with a 2-2 season record.
The Lady Cats’ softball team has two games scheduled in a Wylie tournament on this Thursday game day. The Lady Cats are playing North Mesquite on Field B. That game got underway at 11 a.m. The Lady Cats will also play McKinney Boyd on Field A at 3 p.m. The Lady Cats have a season record of 8-2.
