The Lady Cats’ softball team’s showdown with Mount Pleasant has been moved from Tuesday to Monday night at 6 p.m. in Mount Pleasant Concerns for rainy and stormy weather Tuesday prompted the move. The Lady Cats come into the big game with a 5-0 record in district play. Mount Pleasant is 4-1 in district play after a loss at Texas High Friday night. The game will mark the end of the first half of district play.
Wildcats Baseball Coach Jerrod Hammack said Sunday that a possible switch of the Wildcats game in Mount Pleasant from Tuesday to Monday is under discussion. He said a decision has not been made yet (as of Sunday at noon).
