Scouting Report: Wildcats vs. Prosper

Wildcats Basketball Coach Clark Cipoletta gave a scouting report on the Prosper Eagles on KSST Radio and Cable Channel 18’s Saturday Morning Coaches Show last Saturday. The Wildcats meet Prosper in a regional quarterfinal game at Princeton Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Coach Cipoletta said the Eagles are a very good team. They are 31-3 for the season and are ranked #5 in the state in Class 5A. The Wildcats come in ranked #13 and they have a 30-4 record.

Coach Cipoletta said Prosper has a complete team, just like the Wildcats. He said Prosper is long, athletic and has size. He said their best player is Zachary Wrightsil, who is said to be going to Loyola Marymount. Coach Cipoletta said he does a good job scoring. He said the Prosper point guard is a left hander, Josh Davis. Coach Cipoletta called Davis a go getter and fast who makes the Eagles go. He said Davis will be a player to stop. Coach Cipoletta has also been impressed with Kyle Jessen. He said Jessen shoots like Bryson Lynn.

Coach Cipoletta said the Wildcats will have a height advantage. He said the Wildcats won’t back down. Coach Cipoletta said the Wildcats have been battled tested by a tough schedule including many good Class 6A teams, several of them state ranked. He said the Wildcats are prepared. Coach Cipoletta said the Wildcats have a good game plan for Tuesday night, now they just need to execute it.
