Work is underway to restore the Celebration Plaza glass restroom that was vandalized last week. Workers are redesigning the front door using a different hinge mechanism as well as replacing the one-way mirrored glass panels. Cost of the repair for one shattered panel is over $2500 which led to a state jail felony charge for Wesley Lane Cedillo, 18, who shattered the panel with his ring.
City Manager Marc Maxwell stated that the work has been delayed awaiting the new hinge mechanism for the door.
