Hopkins County Genealogical Society Plans Research Lock-In July 15

GENEALOGY LOCK-IN

The Hopkins County Genealogical Society will host its annual lock-in on Saturday, July 15, 2017.   Lock-in begins at noon and Research Library will stay open until midnight. Refreshments will be available.

$15.00 Donation per-person

HCGS is extremely proud to announce new equipment and new research resources. The library now has a digital ScanPro 300 microfilm reader. The library also partnered with The Portal of Texas and Texas A & M — Commerce to digitize our newspapers and photographs. The archives are now inventoried, our catalogue is inventoried, and everything is word searchable.

Please join us to explore these and many other avenues to uncover your ancestors!!!  Volunteers will be available to assist you.
