Graveside service for Murlene Carr, age 90, of Bullard, TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Carr officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Shooks Chapel. Murlene passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Tyler, Texas.
Murlene was born on April 29, 1927 in Hopkins County, Texas, the daughter of Horace and Julie Fuller. She married the late Elywn Carr in Saltillo, Texas. Murlene was a homemaker and member of the Southern Baptist Church of Tyler, she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Mt. Vernon.
She is survived by her sons, Buck Carr and wife Neda and Billy Carr; grandsons, Daniel Carr, Adam Carr, Eric Carr and Jacky Carr; brother-in-law, Gerald Carr and wife Patty of Tyler and sister-in-law, Mary Oakley of Vienna, VA; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
Murlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Albert Fuller.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that you make a memorial to the charity of your choice.
