Flynn’s House Bill 45, American Law in American Courts Passes House 135-8

AUSTIN- Representative Dan Flynn’s (R-Van) American Law in American Courts bill passed by a vote of 135-8 on the House Floor Saturday, May 6. The bill will now move on to the Senate to be voted on before going to the Governor’s desk for signing.
“English Common Law has served this country since its foundation, and I do not intend to see any kind of foreign law affecting the sovereignty of our State in the future. This bill was my number one priority this session, and I am extremely proud to see it pass today. I have continuously fought for legislation promoting Faith, Family, and Freedom, and that’s exactly what this bill will ensure. I would also like to thank all of my colleagues within the House that helped to pass this bill–especially my good friend Representative Jeff Leach,” said Representative Dan Flynn.
