Tory Niewiadomski sees Sulphur Springs as a good place to live and raise a family. That is why he is moving his wife and 4-year old daughter and 2-year old son to the city as Niewiadomski begins his work as Community Development Director. Niewiadomski said he and his wife had visited Texas several times over the past 10 years. The trees, lakes, and outdoor spaces in Northeast Texas attracted him to the area.
When the Development Director position opened, he began to do research into what Sulphur Springs was doing. He came from the mid-Michigan area. For the past seven years he has been a Director of Development for a community there and a consultant for planning and zoning. As Sulphur Springs begins to develop a new comprehensive plan for the city, Niewiadomski thinks this is a good time to begin his work.
