Early Sunday morning two armed men entered the Encono Lodge on East Industrial brandishing automatic pistols. They took $200 in the robbery. The two black males were wearing bandanas and hoodies. They left the area on foot, according to Detective David Gilmore with the Sulphur Springs Police Department. The Desk Clerk was not injured in the robbery.
Gilmore said he and other investigators with SSPD are working with Dallas area agencies as they follow various leads in the case.
